Did you know that there are ‘59 commercial theatres, 47 fringe venues such as the Southwark Playhouse and 135 not-for-profit-theatres such as the Globe and the National (here in London)’ (Telegraph Article – July 2014)? According to the same article, Mayor Boris Johnson dubbed London ‘the theatre capital of the world’ and I have to agree with Boris. This city is full of wonderful plays, comedy shows, musicals and more for a lot less than you think!
