Pride London is in full swing! Have a read of this lovely blog written by Lottie Skeates O’Reilly who interned with us last week, to find out how you can get involved with the celebrations!
There are 10 days left of Pride month (June) and London’s nightlife is vibrant in the run up to the Pride Parade day on Saturday 7th July. Soho is the obvious hotspot for LGBTQ+ friendly bars and clubs as well as the first pop up London Pride and promotions in participating shops, bars, cafés and restaurants across London’s West End, in Soho, Carnaby and Seven Dials. The pop up shop will also hold an art exhibition and talks by various people. They will be keeping everyone up to date with new events via their social media sites, find them at @LondonLGBTPride. The shop is located on Broadwick Street number 18. However, even with the discounts, Soho can still be very expensive for a night out so perhaps having pre-drinks at a local Wetherspoons or jug cocktails at the pubs during happy hour (often 5-8pm) may be a good idea. Many of the pubs in Soho double up as clubs with lights and music as it gets later. So you have from now until July 8th to take advantage of the fun exciting atmosphere surrounding London Pride and be ready for the street parties and parade on Pride weekend.
