Top tips from our former student Sara Z. about what not to miss in London!!

Our former intern and student , Sara Z. gives us her top ten tips and advice for living in London! Sara has lived here now for 1 year and gives us her must sees and do’s and don’ts while you’re living in the Big Smoke! 

1- Never leave your Oyster at home, you can forget your clothes, your umbrella, your keys         but not your oyster!

 

2- Have a glass of wine and a cheese platter at Gordon Wine Bar in Embankment,  one of my favourite places!

3- Have a very cheap and delicious bagel in Brick Lane (bagel bake), the very famous street in Shoreditch near Spitalfields Market.

4- Well… now the season it is over, but in the spring The Globe Theatre will be open again, and you can’t miss out on the opportunity too see a Shakespeare Play like in the XIV century!Screen Shot 2015-09-04 at 11.42.36

5- It’s better an UBER than a black Black Cab – Download the free app!

6- Camden Market is fabulous but best to visit during the week . The weekend isket on the weekend, it is crazy full of tourists.

7- Have a nice Turkish dinner in Dalston at Mangal2, 4 Stoke Newington Road

8 –  Never stand on the left side on the escalator, you can be killed!

9- If you have time leave London just for one day and discover the country side, you will be impressed, there is the real UK, peaceful and green

10- Without even noticing the time can fly, so don’t waste time at home, even if it is cold and rainy, London is a great city! It offers plenty of things to do, to see. Don’t be lazy go out and explore the city!
