Hello Tti School of English!
This week we have to say goodbye to a lot of students! All of you will be missed, we really hope you enjoyed your stay here, and see you soon!
Here some pics from the Leaving Ceremony!
I also would like to say (I didn’t have the chance to do it last week) that two of our long term students had finished their course at Tti and we sadly had to say goodbye to Onur and Akiko, but fortunately both of them are staying in London for a while so we will have the chance to bump into them occasionally.
This is Onur with two of his teachers, Giulia and Helena.
This is Aki with her friend (and former Tti’s student) Beatrix.
I don’t want to make you sad with these tearful goodbyes, so lets talk about what happened in these days…well we had an amazing social programme, starting with dinner at Nando’s with Ed, the students had the chance to taste one of the most famous chicken chain in UK. Everybody loved it, and if you haven’t been there and you are a spicy chicken fan you should definitely go!
Then on Wednesday Joe hosted a Pronunciation Workshop in Study Lounge and it was a huge success, all the students had a great time, learning with fun is one of Joe’s mottoes and to be honest is the truth ( I had Joe as a teacher and his lessons are unforgettable, because you learn with fun and it’s easy to be focus and remember notions if you are enjoying the lesson!).
….and……big suspense pause… on Thursday it was Maryam’s Pub of the month at Camden Proud, and Maryam knows how to Party, she is the life and soul of the party in addition to being a fantastic teacher.
The best thing about the pub of the months is that you can hang out and chatt with teachers in a different environment which is not inside the school’s wall, and it’s nice to have a chat without academic purpose!
Here are some pics!
Today we also have to say goodbye to Leonie, our lovely intern who has been with us for six weeks.
She did a great job, really really nice to everybody, everyday and always ready to give some help (especially to me, the other intern, and Hava, the other intern as well!).
Thank you very much for everything, hope you had a great time and experience and we hope to see you soon!
here is Leonie really sad for leaving with Joe!
Again, thank you for everything and come back to London to visit us!!
Also Mel’s sister Heather and her husband John came to give a talk as part of our 30 + course’s Guest Speaker programme! Both Heather and John talked about being teachers in America! Heather is an Elementary teacher in Brooklyn, NY and John is Adjunct Professor in Business for a University on Long Island! Thank you Heather & John!
Last but not least! We are looking for coffee bar monitor and house manager…. so if you are interested in free english lessons or free accommodation, get in touch with us and do not miss out this great opportunity!
Just as a reminder I had been working as coffee bar monitor for 7 months and I had the chance to improve my english skills without spending any money at all… so have a thought about this!
