A Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE) qualification opens the door to more than 4,000 global businesses, educational institutions and government departments around the world. It is widely recognised as a symbol of upper-intermediate English language skills. And by preparing for the exam you will develop the abilities you need for academic and professional success.
About the course
- This is an 8-week course with 15 lessons per week
- Courses start January 16th, exam on 10th March 2017 (accommodation required until Sunday), April 10th, exam on 3rd June 2017 (accommodation required until Sunday), 16th October, exam on 9th December 2017 (accommodation required until Sunday). Please note that accommodation should be booked until Sunday for all courses.
- By the end of the course you will have the necessary exam skills, knowledge of all the papers, and the confidence to deliver your best under exam conditions
- The syllabus covers the key skills of reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
- You will also study each FCE exam paper in detail and learn clear strategies to answer the different question types
- To assess your progress and prepare you for exam conditions, we run regular tests and at least two full mock exams
- To complement your classroom learning, we provide a personal e-study plan, homework assignments and regular tutorials
- We also book your exam at a local centre and manage the application process (exam fees are not included in the course fee)
- As this course is for upper-intermediate speakers only, you will be asked to complete a pre-course test to assess your skill level
