New Pronunciation Course for 2007
We think it’s a real shame when students who know a lot of English words and grammar can’t communicate well because of bad pronunciation, so in 2007 Tti is going to offer a pronunciation class as one of the Tti Flexible Option Lessons (that’s 12:10 to 1:00 each day).
Learn to write pronunciations and word stress using symbols it isn’t as hard as you might think! Clarify some of the mysteries of English spelling, and practice the rhythms and intonation of natural English speech. As well as improving your own speaking it will help your listening skills too!
Are you interested in pronunciation? There is a famous poem by called “Cork and Work and Card and Ward” that shows how confusing English spelling can be. You can read it at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphabetic_principle.
If you can speak it properly then you’re well on your way to being a pronunciation master!
Seasons Greetings!
The school closes for the Christmas & New Year holiday on 22nd December and reopens on 8th January.
The office will be open on Thursday 4th January for urgent business.
Hearty thanks to all our students and colleagues who made 2006 such an enjoyable year.
See you in 2007!

If you need a work-out after studying english at Tti you can join our local Sun Kune Do club. Anna Lucia from Brazil trains with them and she invited them to come and demonstrate their skills as part of our social programme.

Potential new student!
Solange, who recently finished her course at Tti came in to show us her beautiful new baby boy, called Ryan.
This was impressive enough, but what was really amazing was the fact that she delivered him herself, without help, in the back of a London taxi on the way to the hospital!
As you can see, mother and baby are doing absolutely fine - but the taxi driver is still waiting for his tip!
