In celebration of International Coffee Day on Saturday 1st October 2016 we asked the Tti Team for their suggestions of where to get the best coffee in Camden Town.
Camden Coffee House on Camden Road, just opposite Sainsbury’s proved to be the most popular location amongst our team! Both our Registrar Ophelia and Viv, our Principal would recommend it! Ophe likes the skinny latte extra hot and no sugar and Viv is an old-fashioned filter man!
Lucy, our Director of Studies lives in the area and has lots of local favourites. She says that the new organic whole foods shop called Natural on Kentish Town High Road does an excellent organic coffee which has nutty notes! She likes a skinny cappuccino.
But what is International Coffee Day exactly? It is a global celebration of coffee’s journey from the farm to your local shop or cafe! On this day the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) and various other coffee associations are coming together to celebrate only the second ever annual International Coffee Day.
There are lots of events going on around London including a blind tasting at the Second Shot Coffee in 475 Bethnal Green Road. http://secondshotcoffee.co.uk and another tasting and a film screening at the International Coffee Organisation at 22 Berners Street, London starting at 2pm. More details about all the events can be found on their website to https://internationalcoffeeday.org/about/
