I have worked with several large companies, including major banks, governmental and European Union bodies where I taught English for business purposes.

Hi I’m Claire, I’m from the Republic of Ireland and I started my journey as an ESL teacher 5 years ago. I like to have a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in my classes, so we will learn a lot and have some fun along the way! I want to help my students with all of their goals, whether that is passing an exam or building confidence in speaking the English language.

I lived and worked in Asia for three years and I am now working from Spain where I am learning a new language myself. I love that I have the opportunity to meet so many people internationally through my work. Hello, my name Kieren, I’m from originally from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire but have been working as an English teacher in several different schools throughout London – and once in Oxford – for ten years. I’ve acquired many great experiences as a teacher and have taught general English classes, Business English classes and IELTS exam classes and have met a number of interesting people from a whole range of different countries. I started my career largely teaching one-to-one classes wherein I also got to work as a private teacher for a number of interesting companies such as Facebook, Google, Airbus and Siemens.

In my spare time, I enjoy painting, creative writing, filmmaking and travelling and am currently learning how to cook and speak Italian.

I have taught English more or less all of my adult life. I have a CELTA qualification and a B.A in Design and Moving Image. I have taught all levels from A1 to C1 of general English, business English and English for other types of professionals (like Human Resources, Finance and Legal English). I have had numerous nationalities in my classes including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, various European nationalities, Russians. Saudi Arabian, Kuwaiti and Iraqi pupils to name just a handful. The part of teaching I enjoy most is teaching students from different countries and learning about their cultures. For me, teaching is not just a job, it’s a way of life, and I am extremely happy when my students achieve their goals.
